The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization is responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated real estate strategy (including facility management and asset management) that supports the further development of the Berlin location and the associated ambitious growth targets.

Your tasks
The implementation of appropriate physical security concepts is essential to ensure ASML's business continuity. Within ASML, the Corporate Physical Security department defines the global strategies, policies, projects, requirements and standards.
The employees of the CRE Physical Security Operations department are responsible for the correct execution of the guidelines, processes and requirements at our site in Berlin and focus on the personnel and organizational measures that protect employees, equipment and know-how.
As a specialist in physical corporate security infrastructure and technologies, you will play a crucial role in protecting us from internal and external security threats with a focus on our technical framework.
The employees of the CRE Physical Security Operations department are responsible for the correct execution of the guidelines, processes and requirements at our site in Berlin and focus on the personnel and organizational measures that protect employees, equipment and know-how.
As a specialist in physical corporate security infrastructure and technologies, you will play a crucial role in protecting us from internal and external security threats with a focus on our technical framework.
- You ensure that the ASML standards regarding physical security infrastructure and technology are implemented correctly.
- You identify and support the implementation of physical security infrastructure and technology.
- You monitor the general status and initiate troubleshooting and the introduction of measures to improve security processes.
- You will proactively identify risks and propose and manage mitigation strategies.
- You play a key role in infrastructure and technology related projects.
- You are responsible for operational access management and video management.
- You work closely with consulting firms, AMSL departments and technical service providers in the areas of building, operating and maintaining security technology and managing the delivery of services.
- You work with physical protection personnel.
- You support measures to increase security awareness.
- You assist with strategic and operational/ tactical physical security tasks
Your qualifications
- You have a bachelor's degree in (physical) security, a master's qualification in protection and security (CCI: Chamber of Industry and Commerce) or a specialist qualification in protection and security (FSS (specialist for protection and security)/ CCI).
- You have extensive know-how in the installation and operation of security technology, including IT networks in the area of access control, video management and intrusion detection systems.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the physical security of a German company.
- You have experience in a production, manufacturing or high-tech environment.
- You have proven experience in coordinating security service providers.
- You have extensive experience in project and contract management.
- You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
